Weapon Quality

Weapon Quality reflects how well the weapon is made. A crude weapon gives a -1 to attack and damage rolls. A normal weapon gives a -1 to hit. A masterwork weapon gives no penalty to such rolls. Prices on the table are for normal weapons. Masterwork weapons cost an additional 150 GP.


Weapon Feature

Weapon’s come in two weights: heavy and light. A heavy weapon makes only one attack per round, but the strength modifier is added to damage. A light weapon makes two attacks in a round with no strength modifier added to damage.


Weapon Range

Thrown or shot weapons’ range is depends on the weapon. Most melee weapons for normal sized humans can only reach the square next to them. Some melee weapons have reach and can attack opponents up to two squares away.


Weapon Type

Weapons come in three types: simple, martial and exotic. Simple weapons require little training to be used effectively. Martial weapons are effective weapons whose worth can only be realized in the hands of an experienced wielder. Exotic weapons are unusual weapons that require special training to be used.
